Firstly just like to say what a wonderful forum this is, not many like these on the interent. Big thanx and keep up the good work guy'z.

Now my problem.. :D

I have Toshiba 40pw8db tv (C8SS chassis) about 10 years old. I have a weird problem after my little 3 year old nephew pressed the power button On and Off number of times. When i pressed it back to "On" all i had was blinking Red and Green light. At this stage i had no picture. So i pulled the plug from the mains and switched the Tv back on. I now had the picture back and no blicking red or green lights, but a solid red light. I am 100% sure when the TV was switched On i had a green light rather then red which came on only when i put tv in standby mode via remote.

I downloaded the manual for this tv and did a "self diagnostic check", by going into service mode - pressing 9 on remote control.

i was present with self check menu. Please see attach image with details of result. I realised that according to the manual the POWER should be 00 as normal but in my case its 01. Which it states that "overcurrent adapts to flow and circuit parts may be possibly damaged" all the rest seems ok.

Can someone please show me which area of the circuit board i need to look to resolve this problem.

Thanx in advance for any help.
